Watch! Winding lines wrap the width of warehouses as workers and women wait warily, worrying and wringing hands, wondering whether websites were wrong. Wherein we whisk white boxes away, wishing we win the war this weekend. Writhe as wrapping is wrested, wrathful words are written, and wagers withdrawn. Will we witness wanking? Whining? Whoring? Without a doubt. Well, whatever. You may call me Wii. - http://community.livejournal.com/nintendo_wii/98212.htm

Flaut, men eg klarer ikkje å finne Vs presentasjonstale. Kvar i boka står den?

Voilà! In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of Fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a bygone vexation stands vivified, and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin vanguarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition. The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta held as a votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous. Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose, so let me simply add that it's my very good honor to meet you and you may call me V.
Utdrag fra LycosIQ Q&A:
If you haven't read the graphic novel - do so. This speech is not in the original, but his first words in the book, as he saves Evey from the finger men are:
"The multiplying villanies of nature do swarm upon him, and fortune, on his damned quarrel, smiling, showed like a rebel's whore. But all's too weak; for brave Macbeth...well he deserves that name. Disdaining fortune, with his brandished steel, which smoked bloody execution. Like valour's minion carved out his passage...till he faced the slave; which ne'er shook hands, nor bade farewell to him."
The 'V' speech, I think, originates from a bit from the novel that doesn't get into the movie - where the main policeman trying to find out who V is goes to the Larkhill concentration camp and drops acid to try to get into the mind of V. He says, during his hallucinatory revelation:
"Vaulting, veering, vomiting up the values that victimized me, feeling vast, feeling virginial, was this how he felt? this verve, this vitality...this vision.

Ain't It Cool News:
...and you may call me V."
Evey
Are you like, a crazy-person'
Stop laughing. I still have a review to write.
Thanks.
It's rare that written dialogue angers me, but when I read the first interaction between V and Evey, it made me livid. They had already swept the rug out from underneath the very character that is to carry the entire film. Rather than present him as he is in the book, an exacting and charismatic mind, they first give him the aforementioned speech. Then the event, the very thing that is intended to kick off the entire film, the destruction of Madame Justice and Old Bailey, is prefaced by a misguided and generally retarded approximation by the Wachowski's on what constitutes "charisma." These are the same two people that wrote the heavy-handed monologuing of the Matrix films, so take a guess as to how V is written.
After that point, the character is buying back credibility, not existing as a charismatic and dangerous individual. The destruction of the two landmarks and V's behavior during this is such a hugely negative establishing scene for the character that he never really attains the value that all of the other characters in the film appear to fear him for.

;) Kudos(I presume) to Øystein -Sazae-san-!
